1990 – Development continued of all major underwater hardware and windscreens, including an exclusive multi-position driving seat which is made under contract & or inhouse.
In 1992 GILFLITE began manufacture under contract to Mercury Marine the ‘Rush’ a sports jet boat.
Later Mercury Marine chose to use the GILFLITE Esprit which was sold as the Bermuda.
Also in 1992 David designed and developed (in conjunction with an industrial designer) a fibreglass monocoque body electric wheel chair with the emphasis on modern but simple styling, cost effective construction and simple tools.
1993 – David Gill began work on the Olympic Bicycle – proposed intent to merge the intellectual property of AIS/RMIT with the manufacturing expertise of GILFLITE. Encompassing the research, development, construction and commercialisation of an Olympic bicycle frame.
1994 – Along with Challenge Fishing Boats – David re designed and established the Discovery fishing boat. Manufactured by GILFLITE under contract.
1995 – David bagan design and development for the fibreglass Toolsafe.
2000 – Commercialisation of ‘Toolsafe’ tradesmans service body.
2012 – Development and Pattern making of Caravan Roof for production in China. Trained Chinese manufacturer in fibreglassing.
